Who We Are

renewomaha was birthed from a desire to to see spiritual awakening come to the neediest parts of Omaha.

We desire to be a movement, not an organization. The headquarters of renewomaha is planted south of Leavenworth Street in the Columbus Park neighborhood. The team is led by Aaron Brooker and operates under the direction of a community of faith leaders that is committed to loving, serving and living out the gospel of Jesus Christ.

renewomaha exists to unite like-minded and like-hearted people who want to bring renewal and restoration to individuals and families in neighborhoods through relationships and prayer.  We exist to attract people of faith to relocate to urban communities to begin the process of reneighboring. We aim to foster unique strategic alliances that will allow for people to invest in some of Omaha’s most developing neighborhoods.

The goal is triangulation.  By placing people in proximity with each other we hope to revive neighborhood alliances. When it comes time to host a summer barbeque, organize a neighborhood cleanup, or help a neighbor find a babysitter we’ve increased our “community pool”  of relationships and resources that can help people experience hope and the fullness of life through a loving neighborhood.
